Brand Comparisons

Note that the below new Precision models are ideally suited to replace Durastill or Pure Water brand water distillers. For example;

DURASTILL BRAND:

  • The Precision countertop River model produces the same amount of water as the Durastill 30J, (8 gallons per day), but has a 5 gallon reserve tank compared to the Durastill 4 gallon reserve.
  • The Precision freestanding Lake model also produces 8 gallons per day and has an 8 gallon reserve tank comparable to the Durastill 3020 which has a 5 gallon tank.
  • The Precision freestanding Gulf model produces 12 gallon per day with a 12 gallon reserve tank comparable to the Durastill 4640 which produces 12 gallons per day with 10 gallon reserve.
  • The Precision freestanding Sea model also produces 12 gallons per day but has a 20 gallon reserve tank compared to the Durastill 4640 or 4696 which has a 10 or 25 gallon reserve tank.


PURE WATER BRAND:

  • The Precision countertop River model produces 1 gallon more, (8 Gallons per day), than the Pure Water brand Midi-Classic and has the same capacity 5 gallon reserve tank.
  • The Precision freestanding Lake model produces 1 gallon more, (8 Gallons per day), than the Pure Water brand Midi-Classic and has an 8 gallon reserve tank compared to the Midi-Classic which has a 5 gallon tank.
  • The Precision freestanding Gulf model produces the same 12 gallons per day as the Mega-Classic but has a 12 gallon reserve tank compared to the Mega-Classic 10 gallon reserve.
  • The Precision freestanding Sea model also produces the same 12 gallons per day as the Mega-Classic but has a 20 gallon reserve tank compared to the Mega-Classic 10 gallon reserve tank.

In addition, Precision water systems have the following benefits that other brands do not:

  • All stainless steel dispensing faucet and sight level gauge. In fact, the entire water path is stainless steel from the solenoid fill valve to the evaporator, condensing coil, post filter cup, reserve tank, water level gauge and dispensing faucet.
  • 3/4 inch rapid drain system compared to other brands 3/8", which allows more efficient impurities removal.
  • Optional Automatic Drain system for reduced maintenance, greatly reduces periodic manual cleanings; (The only other brand that has a 12 Gallon per day, Automatic Drain is the Pure Water brand Mega-Classic.)
  • Optional 1/2 inch Demand pump system compared to other brands 3/8", allows faster dispensing.
